MCP Ltd’s expansion into the US market is complete and operations are in full swing.
With a new website, a new 91,000-square-foot facility, the installation of one extrusion line and three thermoforming machines, and a fully operational production line, MCP USA is on target to deliver 150M trays to the US market over the next year as well as create up to 40 new jobs for the Portage area by the end of 2019.
Centrally located in the midwest, MCP USA’s Portage, IN plant was selected to benefit our processing partners with same-day delivery for regional clients as well as two-day delivery to the East Coast and four-day delivery to the West Coast.
Thanks to The Indiana Economic Development Corporation’s competitive tax credits and grants for hiring hoosiers, MCP USA was able ramp into business operations in record time.
